The Animals

Travelling by bicycle is a great way to not only see the countryside but also increases your chances of seeing wildlife (and unfortunately road kill). Over the last few days travelling through the Lakes area of Ontario we have come across a few animals we would like to share with you. Unfortunately a big moose, a live beaver and another black bear were all too quick for us to get a photo so they will just have to remain collections of our own memories.

Loon: They have the most amazing call that carries for miles across the water. The Canadians have the Loon on their One dollar coin, which is why they call it the “Loonie”
