About canadothis

I have been with my current employer Rural Finance Corporation of Victoria for more than 17 years. I am from a farming background in Western Australia, attended Marcus Oldham Farm Management College, worked for one of Australia's largest commercial banks, NAB. I am a keen cyclist, amateur photographer and enjoy camping. In 2012 I will broaden my travel and work experience when I head to Canada on a study tour with Professor John Martin. We will travel West to East, covering the 7,500 km by bicycle over 4 months. My interest will be in Agricultural Finance and John is studying Sustainable Regional Communities, as part of a wider research project. My employer Rural Finance is assisting me with this trip and this blog site is the means to keep my work colleagues, friends and family updated on our progress, photographs and useful insights.
